About

Allyson
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 16 years of experience working in mental health for non-profit agencies, the VA, and other organizations. Through my own experiences in the military, I experienced first-hand Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, and depression.
After leaving the Navy, I sought therapy to help process what I experienced. While completing my education, I worked at Veterans' Affairs, helping combat Veterans who experienced PTSD and other challenges, including drug and alcohol addiction. I bring this experience to working with you in processing trauma and other issues you may be experiencing.

Finding a path to live the life you want to lead is a goal of the work I do. I practice a resilience-based approach while working primarily with adults (ages 18 and up), veterans, first responders in individual and couples counseling sessions. I also bring, Kayleigh, a therapy dog in sessions.

About
Trisha

I received my psychology undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University and earned my Master of Science in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology at Swansea University in the United Kingdom. I have worked with non-profit therapeutic service organizations since 2013. I have had the opportunity to serve a variety of roles in the social services field, primarily as a mental health counselor and QMHP.

As a therapist, my approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and person-centered counseling. I don’t believe that therapy is a “one size fits all,” and I utilize a variety of methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Attachment Theory to provide an approach that will fit your individual needs. My areas of professional interest involve working with individuals who have experienced trauma, family and relationship therapy, and LGBTQIA+ populations. I am currently working towards an AASECT sex therapy certification.

Montana, Intern
I am a compassionate believer in the power of individual stories. As a professional counselor intern based in Oregon, I provide a non-judgmental space where individuals can openly share their experiences and work collaboratively towards shaping their present circumstances and future aspirations. Drawing inspiration from a "multi-modal" approach, I embrace the qualities of caring, creativity, insight, and dedication embodied by psychotherapists who prioritize holistic mental health care. With me as your guide, you can expect a collaborative and integrative therapeutic journey, where the power of storytelling and the application of evidence-based techniques combine to facilitate positive change and empower individuals on their path towards well-being.

Eli, Intern
I am a Masters level intern working towards my licensure. I have a strong desire to help my clients achieve their goals and work on their own personal story. My goal is to provide an emotion focused space where we would explore on your emotions and work together to find meaning to your emotions instead of hating them or ignoring them. My approach is focused on empathy and my hope is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and embrace their growth towards their therapeutic journey. I believe that everyone has the power to find healing and hope, so we will work on this journey together to achieve your goals and embrace every step of the way.

Steve, Intern
I am a graduate student counseling intern. As a companion on your journey, I will challenge you in this process, including the many assumptions,
perspectives, and falsehoods that might be holding you back from a life of healing and wholeness.
Despite the fears that come with vulnerability, meeting with a spirit of openness and honesty will assist me in serving you. The goal, the exciting part of this process, is to experience and
embrace the potential for reduced stress and anxiety, a decrease in negative thoughts, improved relationships, and increased comfort in social situations and family settings, intimacy issues, and overall self-confidence.
